One of the goals of this site is to help visitors considering moving into UCity a feel for the character and energy of the city. I also want to create a place that connects neighbors to each other.
Residents and friends of UCity are invited to submit stories, photos or video to be published here.

- The story of one of your neighbors or a longtime resident

Or anything else you think other people might like to know.
Businesses in UCity are also encouraged to submit an article about their services, stores or restaurants. You won’t find any spammy sales pitches here. You’ll be more likely to get published if you make it personal. Consider including a customer interview or having pictures or video to go along with your written description.
I’m also looking for businesses willing to do a quick 2-4 minute video interview. If you or someone at your business is willing to step in front of the camera, definitely send me a message via the contact page or leave a comment below.

Karen, here was something I was musing about a few months ago. Maybe your forum will help uncover more information on the 1904 marathon that ran through U. City and through many of our yards.

I am SO not a historian, but would definitely like to hear more about it. If you have any idea of someone who can shed some light on the topic, I’d love to share information about this marathon, or any other UCity history.
