St. Louis Winter Race ~ Frozen Buns 5K & 10K

If you are a runner and get tired of exercising in a gym all winter long, you should sign up for the St. Louis Triatholon Club’s Frozen Buns Race.
Last year’s race closed out at 200 runners and this year promises to be even bigger.
The race planners will provide water stations and a tail car (10K route only) until the last participant has crossed the finish line.
Runners will receive race schwag of fleece gloves or beanie hats (quantities are limited to 400 so register early to make sure you get a race packet & schwag).
Award winners will receive embroidered fleece blankets plus 1st place winners will get gift certificates to Little Shark (awards given out for men & women in each age group).
And EVERYONE will be invited to warm up with hot food and drinks at the finish line tent. This year they will be serving soup, hot cider and hot chocolate, nutella s’mores plus bananas, cookies, water AND propane heaters!

Hey Karen – just saw that you posted about this on their FB page. I’m running this race…we should try to meet up. Maybe turn it into a tweetup
Sounds like a great idea. I’m not running but want to take pictures and then check out the Ice Festival. We should talk to sort out how to arrange this into a tweetup. We could split into photographers and runners, and then come back together after the race.
