Putt Putt Pub Crawl:

Be sure not to miss the pub crawl during the Ice Carnival. Here is the description posted on the Meetup “Just Another Group’s” page:

Alcohol, balls and holes, Oh my!

Join us at the Loop on Delmar for a bar hopping good time. We will visit 12 bars and at each bar there will be a miniature golf ‘hole’ that we will putt and adult beverages that we will consume.

We will start at 2:00 pm at Cicero’s to gather and register. From there we will walk and hit up the following bars (in no particular order):

Fitz’s, Brandts, Blueberry Hill, Delmar Lounge, Meshuggah, Riddles, Racanelli’s, Moonrise Eclipse, Halo, Pin-up, and Pi.

During our pub crawl (insert obligatory on hands and knees dirty joke/image here) the Ice Festival will also be going down (ditto) at the same time. Last year they even had some of the putt putt holes made out of ice. So there’s plenty of cool ice sculptures to check out along the way.

By 6:00 pm we should be back at Cicero’s for the after party. Prizes are given for highest and lowest score. Golf attire is STRONGLY encouraged! There will be a prize for best outfit as well.

We are walking/crawling so dress warm. More than likely we will split up along the way so just be sure to do your putts and get your butts to Cicero’s by 6 pm.

Join the Meetup group and register, or simply show up at Cicero’s or the Pageant at 2 pm.

twitter-bird-logoBlogger & Social Media Tweetup:

Since I love The Loop, urban events and taking pictures, I’m organizing a tweetup with @LindaBogie and @jenn_if_er. Linda and I will be meeting anyone at St. Louis Bread Co who wants to join us to watch the Frozen Buns Race and and take photos of the race.

If you are going to run (or walk) in the race, make sure to connect with @jenn_if_er so she can organize a meeting place for race participants.

I’m working on the details for everyone to connect around 11 AM for brunch. After we eat, anyone who wants to see the Ice Carnival can wander the Loop as a group to enjoy the day’s activities and take pictures.

Check back tomorrow for a full rundown on Saturday’s tweetup.
